The "Girls, Gears and Grub Group" is an effort to create a girls-only environment to learn new things about engineering, and "making stuff".  There are many models like this at MIT, Purdue, Georgia Tech, and other leading schools, so why not North!

Try to meet for the first time Thursday, Aug. 28, during 5th and 6th lunch, Room 400 (come to one of them).  Goal:  meet each other, get ready to make a lamp.

Founder of this group is Shani Letoha, and die-hard participants/leaders are Sheena Patel and Dorian Henao, along with many others.
